B.A. Communication Management and Spanish, University of Dayton
As much as I loved growing up just outside of Chicago, I decided to follow both of my brothers to UD to embark on my college experience. I loved the campus so much that I began giving tours my freshman year. Four years and hundreds of campus tours later, I graduated and began my role as a regional enrollment manager. Being able to work for UD admissions but return home to Chicago was a dream come true. It is so wonderful to watch students as they fall in love with the university that I hold so close to my heart.
Why I Love UD
Tradition, community, and service. Not only did I follow my two brothers to UD, but I also met my husband there. His parents met at UD, his four siblings attended UD, all of their spouses attended UD, and our niece was in the UD arena at three days old! The tradition continues. When kids or siblings of UD alumni visit campus, they are immediately welcomed by the community, and that's why they come back. And I have to say that the amount of community service provided by our students, faculty, and staff is astounding. That's why I love UD.
