Nicoletta manages and services eight special collections and the Library's Religion collection. Among the special collections, the Rare Book Collection and the Catholic Special Collection are by far the more important and larger ones. She is the selector for Religion and the library liaison for the Religious Studies Dept. Fluency in many European languages helps Nicoletta in her work as well as in assisting patrons and colleagues

As an Adjunct Professor, Nicoletta has taught for Indiana University's graduate course, "Organization of Materials and Information," in 1988-92.
