Personal History

Originally from suburban Chicago, Bro. Brandon graduated from the University of Dayton in 2002 with a degree in Religious Studies and History.  He then joined Loyola Marymount University’s PLACE Corps, teaching junior high and living with other Catholic School teachers in Compton, California, while earning a master’s degree in education.  While in Los Angeles, he also lived with the Catholic Worker.  Since joining the Society of Mary (Marianists) in 2009, he has served in high school campus ministry in Cincinnati and Honolulu.  Last year, Bro. Brandon served in the Fitz Center and worked with Dayton’s Neighborhood School Centers and Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School.  He is now the Coordinator of Community Outreach in the Center for Social Concern.

Bro. Brandon finds inspiration through faith of children. He discovered this love while working with Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School. Also, he is inspired by Pope Francis and aspires to have lunch with him sometime.
