Welcome to Pam Halter, UCDRC Family Advocate!
The Urban Child Development Resource Center (UCDRC) is happy to welcome Pam Halter to their team. Pam is a Licensed Social Worker, and provides family advocacy services to both Mary Queen of Peace and Mother Brunner Catholic Schools. She began her position with UCDRC during the very busy Thanksgiving and Christmas season. As a result of initiatives that take place during that time, she quickly developed many new partnerships in the community.
Pam earned her Bachelor’s degree in Individual and Family Development, with a minor in social work, from the University of Oklahoma. She worked as a social worker for the State of Oklahoma upon graduation, and later became a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio. Since 2004, Pam has worked as an assessor, licensing foster homes and coordinating training in Ohio, while also working with a private foster care and adoption agency.
Pam is married and has two children. She has been a Girl Scout leader with the Buckeye Trails Girl Scouts for many years, and has enjoyed working with the girls as they accomplished their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
