You must also have a current (within past 12 months) state and national background check. Return all forms to Anita Middleton, Chaminade Hall Annex, by WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2013, by 4:30 p.m. All pages of the application must be complete and error free or you will be assessed a late fee of $50.00.

The Department of Teacher Education prepares you to teach at the early, middle or secondary levels, and in specialized fields such as art, music, foreign language, Catholic religion and intervention specialist (special education). Our graduates work in a variety of public and private educational settings. Many go on to earnadvanced degrees and pursue careers in educational leadership at the building or district level as principals and superintendents.

The University of Dayton is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and is one of only two Ohio institutions that is a member of the Teachers for New Era Learning Network, sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
