Chair's Welcome

Welcome to the Department of Health & Sport Science in the School of Education & Allied Professions. We offer six undergraduate majors, including Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science and Fitness Management, Nutrition and Fitness, Pre-Physical Therapy, and Sport Management. Our department enrolls approximately 500 full-time undergraduate students, and has shown a growth of 125% in the past five to seven years. Our graduates are well-qualified for graduate school and the work place.

We also offer an academically challenging research-based graduate program in Exercise Science. The flexible personalized curriculum culminates in the development of a research project that is submitted to a peer-reviewed journal for publication prior to graduation.
