Professional Development Workshop Program
The School of Education and Allied Professions is accredited nationally by NCATE (The Standard of Excellence in Teacher Preparation) and regionally by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The School of Education and Allied Professions is committed to supporting compassionate professionals in the fields of teaching, higher administration, exercise science and human services by providing opportunities to earn workshop credit towards maintaining licensure renewals. At a reduced rate, you can earn up to six semester hours (with prior approval) of workshop credit that may apply towards a master's degree in education.
There are several convenient ways to earn workshop credit:
- Create a workshop (pdf) within your school or organization.
- Attend an upcoming workshop (on campus or off campus).
- Register for an online video workshop through Educational Impact Academy.
- Contact other approved workshop providers who offer UD workshop credit.
