Doctor of Educational Leadership Program
The Doctor of Educational Leadership program is designed for educators who are committed to providing leadership at the elementary, secondary and collegiate levels. There are two concentrations that focus on either prekindergarten-grade 12 school administration or higher education administration.
The program prepares scholar-practitioners who value both speculative and practical knowledge and engage in continuous inquiry; deliberate with colleagues upon organizational purposes and the means for achieving them; work selflessly with others; and commit themselves to improving the quality of life within society.
We share faculty, staff and resources with the Department of Educational Leadership, which offers a master's degree and a specialist degree, as well as licensure programs for principals and superintendents and in curriculum/instruction/professional development (CIPD).
Prospective and new Ph.D. students will want to review our doctoral areas of study and our student resources, including the student handbook. Links to this information and more are found on the right side of this page.
