Bioengineering Graduate Program
The Master of Science in bioengineering, housed within the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, is a collaborative program between the School of Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences.
Bioengineering has been identified as one of four growth industry clusters in Ohio, and our program will help fill the need for new bioengineers. The Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that the biomedical engineering field is in the top tier of projected growth potential.
Our program consists of lecture and laboratory components and requires 12 semester hours of core requirements, 12 hours of specialized advanced study in a selected emphasis area, 6 hours of thesis or a 3-hour special capstone project plus one additional 3-hour elective.
