Academic Programs

At the University of Dayton, the programs of civil and environmental engineering and engineering mechanics are taught by world-class educators who are experts in areas such as mechanics of composite materials, mechanical testing, structural Wind Turbine Imageanalysis, surveying, geotechnical and foundation engineering, soil-structure interaction, geosynthetic materials, pipelines, characterization of water quality and aquatic natural organic matter, environmental nanoscience, interdependence of energy and water, traffic forecasts and travel demand modeling, transportation safety, and finite element methods.
