Fellowships, Grants and Assistantships
Clare Boothe Luce Fellowship
Awarded to highly qualified women who are doctoral candidates or, in some cases, candidates for a master's degree in any of the scientific or engineering fields. Open to U.S. citizens only. For more information, contact your department chairperson. Visit the Foundation Web Site >>
Electro-optics Assistantships
The electro-optics program offers two types of assistantships: teaching and research. The teaching assistantships are usually done in collaboration with the physics department. Research assistantships are given based on a student's research interest. Each assistantship may include a stipend and tuition remission. Most assistantship contracts are given for a year or less and vary in funding. Indicate your interest in an assistantship when completing page two of the Application for Graduate Admission online. For more details, please contact the electro-optics program. Contact Electro-optics >>
Learn, Lead and Serve Fund Grants
Make a positive impact on the community while exploring engineering concepts. The School of Engineering Learn, Lead and Serve (LLS) Fund encourages students to perform domestic and international research while serving community organizations. Individual grants range from $1,000 to $2,000, and higher amounts are available for team projects. Applications are accepted each semester. For additional information contact Philip Aaron by phone, 937-229-4388, or e-mail philip.aaron@notes.udayton.edu.
