The School of Engineering hosts an information session for minority high school sophomores, juniors and seniors before the Explore Engineering program, which provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Minority Engineering Program (MEP).

MEP is the cornerstone of our commitment to providing an atmosphere that celebrates our rich ethnic and social diversity.  The program provides scholarship support, a collaborative learning environment, professional development workshops, mentoring programs, opportunities for cooperative education and internships, and social activities.

MEP targets underrepresented engineering students, specifically African-American, Hispanic and Native American. To register for the program, complete our Explore Engineering online registration event form and choose "Yes" for the question regarding the session.
