Summer Honors Engineering Camp
Projects, Experiments and Innovations
Experiments in engineering
See engineering in action when you work in teams to conduct hands-on experiments in engineering. Guided by UD faculty, you will learn what distinguishes chemical, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and engineering technology. The five engineering topics will be offered daily, and groups of 20 students will rotate through the topics throughout the week.
Lego robotics group project
Explore engineering fundamentals from a first-year engineering class through an exciting robotics project. Small groups of students will build robots and use a computer programming to make the robots solve specific problems. Your team will have the opportunity to compete with others, as well as make adjustments to your designs as they are developed.
Innovation module
During a three-hour period, you'll participate in an innovation module. You will be challenged to let your creativity reign, applying your brainpower to engineer and solve a problem.
