Women in Engineering Summer Camp: Registration

Since 1974, the camp has been an affordable, low-risk way for young women to make discoveries about themselves, their abilities and their futures. Explore engineering with other young women your age from across the country at the 40th annual Women in Engineering Summer Camp July 7-12, 2013, at the University of Dayton in Ohio.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES

In order to provide an enriching Women in Engineering Summer Camp experience, we limit our camp to 90 participants. Although our registration deadline is June 1, if our camp is filled to capacity before June 1, camp registration will be closed. Please note:  In order to reserve your spot in camp, you must register and pay your tuition fee of $600.

To register online:

If you are interested in scholarship information, do not use this online registration process. Please see instructions below.

If you are a UD employee with a daughter interested in our camp, do not use the online registration process. Please see instructions below.

Final registration packets and assignments:
An in-depth, final registration packet with camp schedule and details will be mailed to registrants on May 15. Or, for those who register after May 15, the packet will be mailed upon registration. The packet contains options for your Innovation Modules and Day with Industry assignments. Innovation Modules and Day with Industry assignments are made according to the camper’s completion and return of all parts of the final registration packet and all camp forms; in other words, the first, final registration packet completed and returned will be the first assigned.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations made on or before June 21 are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be made if you cancel your reservation after June 21.

Scholarship Instructions and Guidelines

A limited amount of scholarships are available. Please, click here to go to the scholarship application packet (PDF) and complete and mail the packet to our office in lieu of using the online registration process.

If you are applying for a scholarship, follow the instructions on the first page of the application form completely. Please note that a reserved spot in the camp is obtained by registering for camp and paying the tuition fee of $600. The camp does not reimburse camp tuition fees. In other words, you cannot pay the tuition fee to reserve a spot in camp and then apply for scholarship.

Scholarship applications are due by MAY 1, and decisions on awards are not usually made until after May 1.
