
Nanotechnology Summer Institute
If you are a high-school or middle-school science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) teacher, join us this summer for the University of Dayton's Nanotechnology Summer Institute and earn one University graduate credit-hour, which can be used for CEU's or towards a graduate degree.
This federally funded, weeklong Institute is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the University of Dayton Schools of Engineering and Education as well as Sinclair Community College.
WHEN: June 2013 (Monday 12 p.m. - Friday 1 p.m.)
WHERE: University of Dayton campus
COST: No cost to participants
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: High-school and middle-school science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) teachers
WHAT WILL BE COVERED: Nanoscience, MEMS, carbon nanotubes, biomimetics, metamaterials, electron microscopy, nanofabrication, cleanroom tour, lesson planning and curriculum integration
REGISTRATION: Required registration. Enrollment is limited to 25.
Because the participant's tuition will be paid by us, we kindly request that you register only if you are committed and available during the entire week.
