Vision Lab - Computer Vision and Wide Area Surveillance Laboratory
You will focus on the development of new algorithms and architectures for real-time applications in the areas of signal processing, image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, artificial neural networks and bio-mimetic object-vision recognition in the Computer Vision and Wide Area Surveillance Laboratory — Vision Lab.
Vision Lab Spotlight
The newest member of Vision Lab has arrived!
The Robust Artificial Intelligence based Defense Electro Robot (left), also known as the RAIDER, is designed to perform autonomous navigation tasks as well as security check routines that include face recognition, human activity recognition and creation of a 3D model of its surroundings.
Leading the way in brain machine interfacing, the emotive headset controlled robotic arm (right) performs ordinary human tasks such as lifting an item or waving "hello." Amazingly, the robot arm is also completely controlled through the user's brain signals.
