Membership

Membership in the 1850 Society is more than a reflection of your belief in the mission of the University of Dayton. It's an investment in our ability to provide a transformative education.

Any individual or couple who makes annual gifts to the University of Dayton totaling $1,000 or more, including matching gifts, automatically qualifies as a member of the 1850 Society.

Leadership Levels

President $1,000–$1,849
Founding $1,850–$2,499
Serve $2,500–$4,999
Inspire $5,000–$9,999
Transform $10,000+

*Graduates of the last 10 years are eligible for membership with a minimum gift equal to $100 per year since graduation (i.e., six years after graduation, the minimum gift to gain membership would be $600).

Benefits

Members of the 1850 Society receive:

•    Invitations to attend the annual President’s Gala and other campus and regional leadership annual giving events
•    Invitations to exclusive Reunion Weekend events
•    Email assistance for inquiries regarding leadership annual giving membership or other campus matters
•    A dedicated telephone number and staff who can assist with leadership annual giving membership, campus matters and specialized arrangements such as customized campus tours and purchasing tickets for campus events. Members can call 888-963-1850 to speak to one of our staff.
