Sharing Food. Sharing Culture.
Breaking Bread is an intercultural program that brings international and American students together through the sharing of food. Breaking Bread is comprised of three interconnected events:
- March 7: American students demonstrate how to prepare traditional U.S. foods. Students share a meal.
- March 14: International students demonstrate how to prepare traditional foods from their home countries. Students share a meal.
- March 21: Participants will share in a meal in a student neighborhood house.
We are recruiting a committed group of students who are willing to attend all of the events and to share and grow in this experience together. Register before March 5.
Breaking Bread is sponsored by the Center for International Programs, the Office for Mission and Rector, and the Office of Community Wellness Services.
