Tuition and Costs
Because the University of Dayton is a private institution, tuition costs are the same for all students regardless of their current residency. The University of Dayton School of Law charges tuition per credit hour rather than per academic year. The cost per credit hour for the 2012–2013 academic year is $1,072.

†All LL.M. candidates possessing a U.S. law degree must complete 24 credit hours of coursework. International LL.M. candidates must complete 30 credit hours of coursework. All LL.M. candidates may apply for up to nine transfer credits for J.D. coursework in areas such as computer or advanced technology, intellectual property, media or entertainment law. Dayton Law J.D. graduates may apply for an additional three credit hours of transfer credit for a maximum of 12 credit hours.
