Resolving Conflict Wisely
The past three decades have seen an explosion in the use of alternative methods of preventing and resolving disputes.
Courts now mandate the use of mediation, arbitration and similar approaches in a variety of situations. It's no longer a question whether alternative methods of dispute resolution should be used, but rather which methods will most effectively and efficiently resolve a given dispute.
We provide our students with the tools necessary to determine the most appropriate method of dispute resolution by requiring each student to take a course in dispute resolution geared to his or her area of practice.
