Fall 2013 Entering Class: Important Dates and Deadlines

Starting January 2013: File your 2013–2014 FAFSA as soon as possible (preferably before May 1).

May 15, 2013: Your non-refundable seat deposit of $400 is due to hold your place in the entering class. For students admitted after May 15, the first seat deposit due date is indicated in your letter of admission. You may pay by credit card or check. You may also rent a locker for $50.

June to August 2013: Receive your university username and password. This will grant you access to online university systems, including your email account and Porches.

June 15 to July 31, 2013: Email your digital photo for your UD Flyer Card (university ID) to lawstudentservices@udayton.edu. You may also rent a locker.

June to July 2013: Parking Services will email you a specific time period in which you can purchase a parking permit. Check your university email account daily for this announcement.

July 6, 2013: Registration information including fall semester schedules and the textbook ordering process will be mailed. You must sign and return your registration confirmation to finalize your enrollment. You will also receive payment and billing information in the mail from the university bursar.

Aug. 1, 2013: Deadline for emailing your digital photo for your UD Flyer Card (university ID) to lawstudentservices@udayton.edu, sending in your completed immunization form and having your undergraduate degree-granting institution send us your official degree transcript.

Aug. 1, 2013: Registration confirmation is due.

Aug. 19–23, 2013: Academic Excellence Program orientation for entering students.

Aug. 26–27, 2013: Walk-in registration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Keller Hall. You may pick up registration materials, your ID card, locker key and mailbox key.

Aug. 28–30, 2013: Live orientation for entering students.

Sept. 4, 2013: First day of classes.
