Summer 2012 Entering Class: Important Dates and Deadlines

Starting January 2012: File Two FAFSAs (2011–2012 and 2012–2013). File the 2011–2012 FAFSA as soon as possible for Stafford Loan eligibility for Summer 2012. File your 2012–2013 FAFSA as well, so that your eligibility may be determined for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

February 1, 2012: The first non-refundable seat deposit of $250 is due to hold your place in the entering class. For students admitted after February 2, the first seat deposit due date is indicated in your letter of admission. You may pay by credit card or check. You may also rent a locker for $50, for which you also may pay by credit card or check.

March 15, 2012: The second non-refundable seat deposit of $350 is due to hold your place in the entering class. For students admitted after March 15, the second seat deposit due date is indicated in your letter of admission. You may pay by credit card or check. You may also rent a locker for $50, for which you also may pay by credit card or check.

April 15, 2012: Receive your LDAP (university username) from the School of Law's IT manager. This will grant you access to all online university systems, including your email account and Porches. You will also receive your password to The West Education Network (TWEN).

April 15, 2012: Deadline for emailing your digital photo for your UD Flyer Card (university ID) to mboston1@udayton.edu.

April 15, 2012: Orientation information is posted and mailed.

April 20, 2012: Registration confirmation is due.

April 27, 2012: Walk-in registration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Keller Hall. You may pick up registration materials, your ID card, locker key and mailbox key. While at Keller Hall, make sure you can access the University wireless system. Visit the computer lab in the Zimmerman Law Library to configure your system for printing and other needs.

April 30–May 2, 2012: Orientation for entering students. The schedule will be mailed and posted on TWEN.

May 3, 2012: First day of classes.
