Important Update Concerning Loan Refunds

Read the notice below from the Bursar's Office. Any delay to acting on this information could affect when you receive your loan money.

UPDATE:

Starting the 2013 Fall semester, the UD Office of the Bursar will no longer be issuing paper refund checks at the loan window. Instead, they are strongly encouraging all students to sign up for direct deposit, so that your refund may be sent directly to your bank account.

If you don’t sign up for direct deposit, refund checks will be mailed TO YOUR PERMANENT ADDRESS. This could delay your refund for up to several weeks. Checks/Cash will not be available for pick up. No exceptions will be made.

If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for direct deposit now. It’s easy, secure, and convenient!
Go to: www.udayton.edu/bursar/ and follow the instructions given. It will prompt you to log into Porches and enter your email address and your bank account number.

As a reminder, loan refunds, per Federal regulation, may not be disbursed until the first day of class or after.
