Lecture on Emancipation Proclamation

Judge Dennis Langer will give a lecture, "Lincoln’s Path to Emancipation and a Biracial America," on Monday, Sept. 24, from 7-9 p.m. in the Heck Courtroom in Keller Hall.

The lecture coincides with the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s preliminary issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation (issued on Sept. 22, 1862). The event is sponsored by the University of Dayton and the Lincoln Society of Dayton.

Langer is an adjunct professor at the School of Law and a member of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
