150-hour Accounting Program (M.B.A.)

The 150-hour Accounting Program is an ideal opportunity for UD accounting undergraduates. Because 150 hours are already typically required to take the CPA examination, we've designed a program that will allow you to earn your undergraduate degree in accounting concurrently with an MBA in as few as 150 hours.

It's a powerful combination — you get an undergraduate major in accounting, your MBA, priceless internship opportunities, and the option to participate in a study abroad program for true global experience.

Accounting majors interested in this program should contact Dr. Ron Burrows, chair of the Accounting Department, in their sophomore year or early in their junior year. The GMAT and graduate application are required two semesters before beginning MBA classes. Students in this program substitute MBA 698 for MGT 490.

UD will extend your scholarship support in your fifth year while you complete your MBA. In addition, we have a limited number of scholarships and graduate assistantships available. Financial assistance is also available from a number of non-UD sources, especially for minority candidates.
