A Bible for Our Time

See the volumes of Pentateuch, Gospel and Acts from the St. John's Bible Heritage Edition, on loan from St. John's University, in the first floor lobby through Fall 2013. An exhibit of enlarged reproductions of hand illuminated illustrations will be on display from Oct. 18 through Nov. 15, 2013.

The St. John’s Bible is the first handwritten, illuminated Bible commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey in over 500 years. Its handwritten lettering and stunning artworks truly present the Word of God in an engaging and inspirational way. Discover the beauty and splendor of the St. John’s Bible at the exhibition of beautiful reproduction prints showcasing some of the many artworks in this once in a millennium project.
