Scheduling an instruction session
Scheduling of library instruction classes should result from the direct contact between teaching faculty and librarians. This contact can be in person or via email or telephone.
Classes will be scheduled electronically and confirmations will be sent to the instructor and librarian. The instructor and the librarian should discuss session outcomes and expectations. Instructors are encouraged, but not required to share syllabus and assignment information.
Classes should be scheduled at least one week in advance to allow for careful preparation.
Instructors are expected to accompany their classes to the library to take part in the class.
Room 401 can accommodate classes up to 30 students.
