Learning Support Guide

The University of Dayton offers a wide variety of services to support and enhance student learning, and the Learning Support Guide provides a handy way to look at them all in one place. The guide is an up-to-date list of both direct support for classes and services available to support individual students.  You can review the guide in an interactive Prezi format or in text on this web page (scroll down on this page).  To print only the areas of interest to you, simply highlight and copy the sections that you want from this web page and paste them into a word processor, then print.  We will update the information in the Learning Support Guide throughout the semester, so check back again to see what might have changed.

Write Place offers free peer-to-peer writing support on any writing assignment and at any stage of the writing process to all UD students. The Write Place is not a proofreading service but rather provides students an opportunity to get concrete feedback on the content, organization, and mechanics of their writing.  To help make sessions productive, students should bring their assignment sheet and any draft of their paper.

The Write Place will be open from May 12-July 31.  Drop-in hours for writing support (no appointment necessary) are Monday through Thursday from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. For more information, contact the Write Place at writeplace@udayton.edu.
