The Gospel of John and the Mother of Jesus

[Arcabas, Christ Pantocrator and the Four Evangelists] The text of John gives us evidence of some of the historical events in the life of Jesus and his followers and his family. There are also remembrances of traditions about Jesus and his followers and family which were not recorded elsewhere. The text of John, therefore, is of primary importance for it is the foundation for the Incarnation, that Jesus is truly the Son of God.
