David Kudla, CEO and chief investment strategist of Mainstay Capital Management LLC, has been reappointed executive director of the University of Dayton's RISE Forum. RISE (Redefining Investment Strategy Education) is the largest and longest-running student investment conference in the world.

As executive director Kudla spearheaded RISE 13, which broke attendance records, connected to students around the world, attracted unprecedented media coverage and hosted some of the most influential leaders in the finance industry.

"Dave's extraordinary commitment took RISE to new heights, extending the forum's reach nationally and internationally," said University of Dayton President Daniel J. Curran. "He has been exceptionally generous with his time and talent and as one of the nation's top financial advisors, his knowledge of the industry and his connections have been invaluable.

"Dave continues to place students at the center of RISE, providing exceptional learning opportunities and cementing its reputation as the premiere educational and experiential investment conference for students in the world. We are grateful he has accepted the challenge to make RISE 14 even bigger and better."

Under Kudla's leadership, RISE 13 secured more than 30 strategic partners, attracted a stellar lineup of speakers that included two Federal Reserve presidents and drew live media coverage from the forum by CNBC and Bloomberg and other prominent media.

RISE 14 is scheduled for March 27-29, 2014. Visit RISE at http://www.udayton.edu/business/rise/.

"Our goal with RISE 13 was to take it to a new level. With the A-list of speakers, a Federal Reserve Presidents Panel, an introduction by Ben Bernanke, participation from all three major business networks and students participating from North America, Europe and Asia, I believe we achieved our goal," Kudla said.

"It was most gratifying to hear some of the best economists and investment strategists in the world say they were impressed not only with the size and scope of the forum, but with the sophisticated and insightful questions from students," he said.

Kudla has been named by Barron's as one of the "Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors" in the country for the past four years. His firm, Mainstay Capital Management, serves 3,600 clients in 46 states and 12 countries and is ranked by Investment News as a "Top 30 Financial Planning Firm."

Kudla often appears on CNBC, FOX Business, Bloomberg and other business news programs and is regularly quoted in the financial press. He is a contributing writer for Forbes and Dow Jones, regularly speaks at national conferences and has conducted retirement and investment educational programs for thousands worldwide.
