The Fitz Center for Leadership in Community initiates and sustains partnerships for both comprehensive community building and as a context for connected learning and scholarship. Through the Fitz Center, campus and community are encouraged to learn more about assets and needs, the power of civic organizations and the principles of Catholic social teaching applied to contemporary urban issues. Service learning tracks in the Fitz Center include the Dayton Civic Scholars, the Rivers Institute, Semester of Service, Neighborhood School Centers, Graduate Community Fellows and Community Service Learning.
