Club tennis at the University of Dayton is a coed team composed of a variety of levels. The skill ranges from people who played High School doubles to people who did not have time for varsity in college and still want to compete at a high level.
The team meets three times a week to practice and competes in Midwest USTA league matches on the weekends. Practices are held on campus at the Graul Tennis Courts during the warm weather months and at the 5Seasons Tennis Club during the winter months. We both host home matches and travel to other schools in the Midwest for away matches. The team also participates in at least one multi-day tournament per semester which includes the Midwest Championship in the spring semester.
The USTA does not give the club tennis team a schedule of events for the whole semester and notice is sometimes given only a week in advance.
