UDCR Membership

Semester Memberships Dates

• Spring 2013:  January 2 - May 14
• Summer 2013:  May 15 - August 4
  
  Fall and Spring Semester memberships may be purchased at a prorated rate of 50% of the listed price on or after November 1st and April 1st, respectively.

Membership Type Criteria

Individual
The individual member is identified as the person with a direct relationship to the University of Dayton. As such, the person must hold an individual membership in the respective category (i.e. student, faculty/staff, alumni/affiliate). One must have an individual membership in order to sponsor a Single Family Member, Family membership, or Plus One membership.

Single Family Member or Family
Those eligible for inclusion on a Single Family Member or Family membership are the individual members spouse, as well as natural or adopted children or stepchildren under age 25 at the time of purchase.  An individual must claim children on their tax return in order to qualify for these memberships. The individual member must be present at the time of membership registration or renewal for the Single Family or Family membership.

Plus One
You do not have to be alone in your pursuit of a healthy lifestyle! Many individuals are motivated by working out with a friend or family member.  Campus Recreation's Plus One membership allows a current UDCR member to sponsor one person of their choosing for membership. This person does not need to be UD affiliated beyond their sponsor. The individual (sponsoring) member must be present at the time of membership registration or renewal for the Plus One membership. The Plus One person must present a photo ID at time of purchase. Individuals with a Plus One membership are not eligible to sponsor additional members.

Payment Options

Campus Recreation accepts the following forms of payment:

• VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cash, Check, Flyer Express, and DayAir payroll deduction
• Faculty and staff may purchase membership by way of payroll deduction August 16, 2012 to September 30, 2012 and January 1, 2013 to January 31, 2013.

• UD Faculty / Staff
• UD Alumni / Affiliated
• Guest Pass

UD Student

Individuals in this group are enrolled in at least eight (8) credit hours in a degree seeking program at the University.  These students all pay a Basic University Fee ($440.00) as part of their tuition that includes their UDCR membership.

Individuals in this group are enrolled in 1-7 credit hours at the University or are enrolled in a unique program.  These students do not pay any of the Basic University Fee (fees that fund Campus Recreation). This group includes but is not limited to: Part Time Students, Co-Ops and Graduate Students.

UD Faculty / Staff

Individuals in this group are full time benefit eligible employees of the University of Dayton or an affiliated corporation. 
During two time periods (listed below) of each year, these individuals are eligible for a $100 (annual) or $50 (semester) discount courtesy of Human Resources contribution. 

The HR subsidy occurs twice per year:
August 1, 2013 - September 30, 2013 and January 1, 2014 - February 28, 2014

*The HR discount only applies to individual memberships; no other membership types qualify.

UD Alumni / Affiliated

UD Campus Recreation extends membership opportunities to UD Alumni and groups who have a direct relationship with UD. Some examples include Dayton Early College Academy and DayAir Credit Union staff (UD branch only). Individuals in this group must have a photo ID to document their membership in one of the listed groups.

Guest Pass

Individuals in this group must be sponsored by a Campus Recreation Member that is on site to sign for them or must show proof of current patronage of the Dayton Marriott.  Each current UD Campus Recreation member may only sponsor up to two guests per visit.
