Financial Obligations
Financial requirements are an important consideration for students interested in participating in the fraternity and sorority community. Each fraternity and sorority is self-supporting from dues paid by its members. Dues and fees vary for each chapter and from year to year. The expenses involved in being a member include: semester dues, social dues, insurance, house/parlor fees, inter/national dues and other fees. During the first year of membership, the expense is usually greater due to the new member fees, initiation and pin/badge fees that are incurred during this period.
