Health Insurance

All University of Dayton students are required to have health insurance and eligible for the student accident and sickness insurance plan, which protects students at school, at home, while traveling, and during vacations. Participation in intramural athletics is covered as well.

If you do not have insurance coverage, you can purchase insurance through Student Resources, a division of United Health Care, which offers health insurance for University of Dayton students. The premium for the insurance plan can be paid by semesters or purchased on an annual basis. Further details and limits of coverage are published in a brochure available at the Health Center.

Students enrolled in the Student Resources insurance plan can obtain claim forms online and are responsible for filing a claim within 90 days of an accident or illness.
