Transfer Students
Welcome to the University of Dayton!
We have planned an exciting orientation to support you in your transfer experience here at the University of Dayton. Orientation and Move in for transfer students begins on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 8 a.m. As a transfer student, you have your own unique story about your past collegiate experiences. At UD, we are excited to watch you grow and flourish as an involved member of our community. We’re confident that you’ve made the right decision by transferring to UD, and we look forward to helping you make a smooth transition.
Transfer students will meet on Sunday, August 19 at 7 p.m. at the Hanger in Kennedy Union for the community dinner (look for a large sign). After dinner we will enjoy some ice cream at the Campus Ministry Ice Cream Social and then take some time to get acquainted with one another, the Orientation schedule, and the campus before attending the social that evening.
The official Transfer Student Welcome will take place on Tuesday, August 21 at 11 a.m. in Kennedy Union. President Curran will be offering his words of welcome, sessions will take place for both students and families, faculty and staff will be present to answer questions, and there will be a great lunch. If you are a Transfer student, be sure to attend this required event to become acclimated to the UD campus.
