Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and advise all student organization leaders and members with event planning, registration and risk management
  • Review and approve all events, imprinting, and/or advertising through Community
  • Facilitate Event Management Training (EMT) sessions for student organizations hosting events which include alcohol/high risk
  • Provide educational sessions for students leaders/members and advisers which cover a variety of topics
  • Create and maintain the Student Organization and Adviser Resource Guide
  • Supervise the Graduate Assistant for Student Life
  • Advise the Dayton 2 Daytona Committee
