School Closing
School Closings will be communicated to the various radio and television stations by 6:00 a.m.; announcements will follow thereafter.
Evening classes cancellation will be determined and announced by noon. A note will be posted on UD’s web page of all closings and cancellations. An email will be sent to all faculty, staff and students of all closings and cancellations. Closing announcements pertain only to classes on the University of Dayton Campus.
School Closing announcements will be one of four:
- The University of Dayton, including the Children’s Center, will be closed until noon today.
- The University of Dayton, including the Children’s Center, will close at noon today.
- The University of Dayton, including the Children’s Center, will be closed today.
- Evening classes have been cancelled at the University of Dayton.

During snow removal operations, safety is our priority. Cars illegally parked will be towed.
