Wellness Programs

Most events are coordinated by the Wellness Graduate Assistant, Wellness Interns, and the Wellness Council. The Wellness Council is a group of students, staff, and professors that come together to discuss ways to improve the Wellness of the student population. The Wellness Council typically hosts monthly Wellness Wednesday programs. Some events take place on Wednesdays on varying topics, locations, and times. These "Wellness Wednesdays" provide an opportunity for the students to take a few minutes out of their busy lives to think about their personal well-being. Wellness Wednesdays include programs such as Thankful Thoughts – sending postcards to say thank you, Alcohol Screening Day, Chair Massage, The Choose Well Live Well Day, and more.

March 2012

March 14 = Empty Bowls Program from 7-8pm @ McGinnis Auditorium. Dinner with soup, bread, and pottery bowl to take home - Proceeds goes to the Dayton Food Bank. 

March 13 & 15 = Responsibility Pledge Campaign @ KU Lobby from 11-2pm. Fill out a pledge card & receive a Health & Wellness t-shirt and magnet.

March 14 = Responsibility Pledge Campaign @ Outside of KU from 11-2pm. Fill out a pledge card & receive a Health & Wellness t-shirt and magnet.

March 28 = Cooking on Campus 7:00 pm @ McGinnis Auditorium
