Campus to Career: Bridging the Gap
What began in 2010, as desire for the GE Women's Network to give back to the Dayton community has grown into an innovative, professional development experience. The GE Women's Network approached the University of Dayton with an idea to share their professional knowledge with women students (to give back and ultimately pay it forward in better-prepared new hires).
The first two conferences were called Sweats to Suits: Bridging the Gap from Campus to Career, however in 2013 the name changed to Campus to Career: Bridging the Gap better reflect the theme of professional development not dress for success.
Please note: This is not a career fair or job search event, the goal of Campus to Career: Bridging the Gap is to prepare young professional women for the first day, week, month and year on the job; to successfully navigate the workplace environment.
