Feminism has a low profile at UD.

Many UD students, both male and female, have uncritically absorbed negative stereotypes of feminism, do not understand feminism's positive impact on their own lives and opportunities, and do not realize that many of the people around them, whom they like and respect, are feminists.

To foster greater engagement with feminism and gender concerns at UD, the Women's and Gender Studies program and the Women's Center initiated* an awareness campaign in hopes of enlightening the UD community in a fun and productive way.

These selected submissions express the opinions of true UD feminists.  Our goal is to create a better understanding of feminism and begin to eliminate the negative stereotypes that surround it.
