On-campus Housing

3/26/18 Update:  On-campus housing is now sold out.

All alumni, spouses, families and guests are invited to stay in on-campus housing. Registration for events starts Thursday, March 1. Registration for on-campus housing will begin on Monday, March 19 at Noon ET. Registration for on-campus housing must be completed online only and you must be registered for at least one paid event (Friday night class party and/or Porch Party).

Amenities

  • Click here for detailed information about each on-campus facility. 
  • Please remember that these are dorm rooms and do NOT have the same amenities as a hotel room. Also keep in mind that in some cases, the facilities may show their age and wear.
  • All beds are extra-long twin beds.  Founders beds are lofted.
  • All on-campus facilities are air-conditioned.
  • General Amenities: All on-campus housing rooms include pillow, pillow case, sheets, blankets, two bath towels, one washcloth and soap per person.
  • Please note the pillows are not exceptionally big or fluffy, and the towels are not overly large either. You may want to consider bringing your own, if these are important to you.
  • Items NOT provided/available: Toiletries, television, alarm clocks, radio, telephone, coffee maker, shampoo/conditioner, iron, clothes hangers, hair dryer, reading light, room service. In some rooms, cell phone service may limited or unavailable.

Lost Keys/Cards & Room Damages

  • Room Keys: All on-campus housing occupants will be issued an apartment key and/or an access card as long as their information has been provided in advance. All keys and/or cards must be returned upon check-out. Failure to do so will result in an automatic $125 lock change charge and/or $20 access card replacement fee to the person who made the room reservation.
  • Room Damages: Any damage fees associated with the on-campus housing room you are registered to during the weekend, will be charged to you. UD is not responsible for the damages that might be done to the room while you are staying in them.

How to Register

Step 1 – Event Registration – March 1
Register for events at your.udayton.edu/reunion starting on Thursday, March 1.
Events do not sell out so it is not necessary to get right on March 1. No priority is given for on-campus housing registration. It is all first-come, first-served.
You first must be registered for at least one paid event (Friday night class party and/or Porch Party) to be eligible for on-campus housing. See step 2.

Step 2 – On-campus housing registration log in information

Please note:
- Already registered or registering before Friday, March 16? The email from "conferences@udayton.edu" with your housing login information will be sent by end of day Friday.
- If you plan on registering for events on Saturday, March 17 or Sunday, March 18, you will receive the email from "conferences@udayton.edu" with your housing login information by Monday at 10 a.m.
- We suggest that you register for your paid event BEFORE Monday, March 19 at 10 a.m. ET to ensure you receive your housing login information before registration opens at Noon.
- You must use that information to log in to the on-campus housing registration page.

Step 3 – On-campus housing registration – March 19 at Noon ET
Go to your.udayton.edu/reunion and refresh your browser at Noon ET on March 19 to get the link to the housing registration.
Log in using the username and password you were provided in the above email.

Step 3 – Contact information
Complete any required bio information if it is not already pre-populated.

Step 4 – Choose your facility and dates of stay
You will now choose the facility you would like to stay in. If the facility is not listed in the drop down box, then the rooms are sold out. You will receive your actual room number when you check-in Reunion Weekend.
A two-night stay is required. Thursday night stays are available. Check-out must be done by Sunday by 11 a.m. You will not be able to check in early or late with the appropriate reservation.

  • 2-person — $70/night - Common bathroom on the floor. Marianist, Founders*
  • 4-person — $140/night - Private bathroom. Marianist, Virginia W. Kettering, Caldwell
  • 6-person — $210/night - Private bathroom. Campus South - limited space available
  • *The classes of 2014-2017 will only have the option for Founders.  No other classes will be able to choose Founders.  Also, please note, Founders has lofted beds.

Step 5 - Add roommates

  1. At initial registration, it is not necessary to add roommates to complete registration. You will be able to come back in to your housing registration to add roommates at a later time.
  2. Roommates must also be registered for at least on-paid event in order to be added and checked in to a reservation.
  3. Please see special note below about double bookings.
  4. All roommate names must be added before you arrive on campus to check in.

Step 6 – Housing requests
You will be able to provide special accommodations requests as well as room location preferences (i.e. placed near other friend groups) provided they are registered in the same housing facility.

Step 7 – Payment
Only one person in your group needs to register and pay for the room (by credit card only and must be paid in full). All others in the room will need to reimburse that person for their portion.
*If you get an error at this point, it is most likely that the facility you chose just sold out in real-time. You can go back to choose a different facility and get on the wait list for another facility.

Step 8 - Confirmation
You are all done! Check your email for your confirmation.

  • Avoid double bookings: There is plenty of space on campus. Double bookings cause rooms to sell out for others. Designate one person in your housing group to register and pay for the room. All others in the room will reimburse that person for their share of the room.
  • Roommates and Check-in: In order for everyone in the room to check-in themselves and get a key for the room, their names must be placed on the room BEFORE you arrive on campus.
  • What’s included? Be sure to click here before you leave home to see what will be included in the rooms when you arrive. And, please remember, these are dorm rooms, these are not the beds and bedding of a hotel room.
  • Wait list: There will be a wait list option if the facility you want is not available at the time of your initial registration.
  • Air-conditioning: Yes, all on-campus rooms are air-conditioned.
  • Co-ed: Yes, all on-campus rooms are co-ed.
  • Room cancellations: If you are unable to use your room, please cancel as soon as possible or before May 15. Refunds will not be issued after May 15. To cancel, please send a written request by email to conferences@udayton.edu.
  • Check-out: Room check out must be complete before Sunday at 11 a.m.
  • Student Houses: Sorry your old house is not available.
