Faith-Infused Lives

A Vital Part of Our Campus Community

Campus Ministry offers students numerous avenues to pursue their faith — and Cole Hepp ’20 has found himself drawn to many of them, including peer discipleship ministry, the Chaminade Scholars program, liturgical ministry at Mass and leadership opportunities on retreats. He believes in Campus Ministry at the University of Dayton and is quick to extol the positive impact it has on campus.

“Campus Ministry really defines our community,” he said. “There are Catholic schools where you go to campus and you don’t necessarily know how present campus ministry is. Once you come to UD, because of the Marianist charism and the way people show love on campus, you can tell that Campus Ministry has a tangible impact.”

He also emphasized the varied nature of Campus Ministry’s offerings. “Once you get an inkling through that doorway of Campus Ministry, that hallway of opportunities is huge,” Hepp said. “And the opportunities cater to all types of students. There are a lot of doors in that hallway that people can open and have an experience like mine, but in their own way.”
