Overview

BioRAFT is a web-based system that supports laboratory safety compliance and the regulatory needs for laboratory research environments as well as other laboratory technical areas.

The purpose of the BioRAFT online compliance management system is to assist researchers, lab managers, supervisors and the EHS staff in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for students, faculty and staff at the University of Dayton. 

Online Training Features

-Laboratory wizard set up to perform a hazard assessment for each lab space and identify
 hazards and training needs.
-Individuals have the ability to track training history.
-Individuals will receive reminder emails when training is due or expired.
-Individuals are associated to certain training modules based on their job activities.
-Training certifications/transcripts are provided to the individual for personal records.
-Administrators have the ability to manage lab members and spaces.
-Administrators can access lab members training records and view delinquencies.
-View and follow-up on lab inspections performed in labs.
