The Privately Speaking Line has been established at the University of Dayton to ensure our employees and students have a way to report a concern anonymously. The University encourages all employees and students to live our Marianist values and to try and work out differences or concerns directly with each or with a supervisor. In most situations, you will be able to discuss your concerns with a supervisor, your Dean or Vice President; however, we recognize that this is not always possible.

Contact the Privately Speaking Line when you observe behavior that has a negative effect on the University or your fellow employees or students and in situations involving serious matters – such as possible fraud, waste, safety concerns or other abuse of University resources. When you feel you cannot share this information through internal channels or feel it is important to remain anonymous, you should use the Privately Speaking LineThe University is committed to responding to all reports submitted through EthicsPoint in a prompt and discreet manner.

Concerns should be raised in good faith. Any retaliation for reporting is prohibited. If you feel you are a victim of retaliation as a result of a report or investigation you can report it to Legal Affairs (937-229-4333), Human Resources (937-229-2541), or the Privately Speaking Line. Making a known false report (fabricating information) is also a violation of the Whistleblower Policy
