About Open Lab: SJ 011

The College of Arts and Sciences provides an open computer lab for students of any major. This lab is located in the lower level of St. Joseph Hall, Room 011.

Special Note: If the front doors to St. Joseph Hall are locked, please contact Campus Police at 937-229-2121 to request that an officer be dispatched to unlock to doors.

Lab Hours

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Saturday: Noon - 4:00 PM

Sunday: 1:00 - 10:00 PM

Hours are subject to change.

Network Printing: Konica-Minolta Bizhub 223

Pay for Print is in place and the charge is $.04 per page. All printing is charged against Flyer Express.

To print you must login to, authenticate with UD username/password and release print job.

Printing InDesign files:

The laserjet printers in the labs are not capable of printing native InDesign files (files ending in .indd).  However they can print PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

How to Report a Problem

The procedure to report a problem with a computer is as follows:

  1. Asset TagLocate the asset tag. It is a silver tag located on the top of each system. The asset number is located below the bar code and this number will be used when reporting. See photo at right.
  2. Email or call the UDIT Help Desk at, or 937-229-3888.
  3. When reporting the problem, be as specific as possible. Always provide the number from the system's asset tag. Also, identify the application being used (i.e. MS Word, InDesign, etc.), and provide any error messages that are displayed.
