Graduate Program in Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry offers a program leading to the Master of Science degree. The program involves formal coursework and culminates in a research thesis focusing on areas such as biochemistry, organic, inorganic, analytical or physical chemistry. A non-thesis option is also offered. Starting in 2016-17, the department now offers the B.S.+M.S. Program in Chemistry, allowing qualified students the opportunity to earn a Master of Science in chemistry in five years.
