Careers in Computer Science
Have you heard of YouTube, Google or Meta (Facebook)? These programs were all written by people with a degree in computer science, similar to the one offered at the University of Dayton. According to a 2022 report in U.S.News and World Reports, computer science (information security analyst) is ranked No. 1 among the 100 best jobs in the U.S.
Many of our graduates have been employed by companies such as Twitter, Amazon, Walmart, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, AT&T, Compuserve, Target, General Electric, Mead Corporation, NASA Space Flight Center, Northrop Grumman, Apple, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and many others. A number of these organizations are headquartered in the greater Dayton or Cincinnati area.
