Minor in English
Adding an English minor lets students flexibly choose from the wide range of English courses including literature, writing, rhetoric, TESOL, film studies, or theory. With an English minor, students design a program of study their own. Equipped with excellent writing, critical reading, and analytic skills, students have even more job opportunities after graduation.
Who can apply?
Undergraduate students from all disciplines are encouraged to minor in English.
Students may apply after they complete ENG100 or 100A and100B, ENG 200 or 200H or ASI 120.
What are the requirements for an English minor?
A minor in English requires 12 hours of 300/400 level English courses.
