Caldwell Apartments


We offer three different types of accommodation. The Caldwell Apartments and Marianist Hall are located on campus and are a few minutes’ walk from the meeting facilities and dining areas. We have also reserved rooms at the Marriott Hotel. You will have an opportunity to reserve rooms in the Caldwell Apartments or in Marianist Hall during the registration process.  A link to reserve rooms at the Marriott Hotel is given below in the description of the Marriott.

Caldwell Apartments:

Caldwell Apartments is the newest residential complex on the University of Dayton campus. Built in 2012 and composed of five separate buildings, Caldwell provides comfortable accommodation in 75 four-person apartments. Connecting walkways and beautifully landscaped green space provide an idyllic setting for the short walk to nearby meeting and dining facilities and parking. The cost for Caldwell Apartment lodging is $105 per night, per apartment. Each apartment features:

  • Kitchen with granite countertops
  • Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave
  • Furnished living room
  • Dining area with table and chairs
  • Two furnished bedrooms (two single beds per room)
  • Two bathrooms
  • High-speed internet connection and wi-fi
Marianist Hall:

Marianist Hall is a relatively new four-story residence hall with accommodations available for up to 200 conference guests. Located near the heart of campus, it is only steps away from meeting and dining facilities as well as ample parking. The post office and University Bookstore are also housed in this building, and it is adjacent to the RecPlex. The hall features a large lobby area, meeting spaces, elevators and central air conditioning. 

There are two types of rooms available in Marianist Hall.  One is a semi-private suite in which two bedrooms share a bathroom and the other is a more traditional double room where several rooms share a common bathroom and shower. The cost of a semi-private suite is $105 per night per suite, and the cost of a double room is $55 per night per room. Each suite can sleep up to 4 people, and each double room up to 2 people. Each residence room features:

  • Two twin beds
  • Two desks
  • Two desk chairs
  • Two closets
  • Combination refrigerator and microwave
  • High-speed internet connection and Wi-Fi

To reserve a room at the conference rate of $139 per room per night, book your group rate for SUMTOPO2017. Rooms at the Marriott may be canceled up to 24 hours before the arrival date with no charge.
